"So that" doesnt fit in. A & B out.

"them" after "that" is redundant. C & E out.

D is my choice.

failed to correct

(D) is correct.

B. so that several attempts at revising corporate strategies have
failed to correct - akward construction. OUT
C. in that several attempts at revising corporate strategies have
failed to correct them - them? corporate strategies or computer company’s present troubles? OUT
D. that several attempts to revise corporate strategies have
failed to correct - CORRECT.
E. that several attempts at revising corporate strategies have
failed to correct them - them? corporate strategies or computer company’s present troubles? OUT
