"B"....this is why I think B is correct....In the first part we are using will not only......to maintain || in the second part we should also say "but also will have the ability".....however, will from the 2nd part has been omitted to avoid redundancy. As u know will have is the correct usuage and not will has....hence B is the answer

Could you elaborate on this....I mean i see what u're saying [will = future tense therefore use have]. Is this some kind of rule? Any exceptions to the rule?

But subject = computer software [singular].

Therefore verb should be singular. Are you saying "have" is used as a singular verb here - As in "I have no car"??

Pls elaborate.....

I'm also wondering about the comma before the "but." In order to use that comma, the clause after it must be independent. Without the subject "it," the comma is incorrectly used. Thoughts?

not only.. but also is the correct idiom.

(D), and (E) are out.
In (C), 'it' is redundnant.

Between A and B, I'll take B. 'have' is the correct verb to use.

I think it's most a case of the future tense requiring 'have' rather than the subject being singular or plural. Anyway, the sentnece discusses the uses of the software, and since it's not just one use, but many other uses as well, a plural verb isn't wrong.
