The cost of sending a package is T cents for the first 1/4 kilogram and T/5 cents for each 1/4 kilogram or fraction there of. What is the cost in cents, to send a P kilogram package at this rate where P is an integer grater than 1?

= T + (P - 1/4) (T/5)/(1/4)

= T + {(4P-1)/4}(4T/5)

= T + (4P-1) (T/5)

= T {1 + (4P-1)/5}

= T (5 + 4P -1)/5

= T (4 + 4P)/5

= 4T (1 + P)/5

this doesnot cover the fraction in full if the fraction is smaller than 1/4.
