Option choice E would be correct if not for the word correct. Did you add that, OP?

Update: Now answer choice E is the only suitable answer. The redundant of eliminates all other answer choices.

"One of the rarest and most alluring of the gems known" - the two "of's" are redundant. This also eliminates (B), (C) and (D). This should be a pretty easy problem.

My option would be E , because D is gramatically not correct, C is not correct bcoz & B doesnt suit the sentence .
