The Deep Russian amethyst, one of the rarest and most alluring of the gems known, is almost never found in the continental United States.

(A) of the gems known

(B) of the gems to be known

(C) of the gems that is known

(D) known of the gems

(E) gems known

My option would be E , because D is gramatically not correct, C is not correct bcoz & B doesnt suit the sentence .
