Option E :- Subject-Verb Error IMO :- C

Hey foks, There was a typo, In D instead of "conference" it should be "conference on Modern Changes in Standard English". I have updated the question; you may revisit your responses in light of this change. Vercules

I'd go with C on this one as it sounds appropriate. Also, the Team:Was connection seems to work best in this sentence.
