I choose D though I was stuck between A and D!
Though A has a modifier problem, A uses the idion claims to be
D's claims it is...sounds a bit wierd!

It should be 'D'.

A - antecedant of 'it' is 'handheld computer'.
B - it means: "world is as long as a handheld computer"
C - antecedant of 'it' is 'handheld computer'.
E - changes the meaning by talking about 'weight of handheld computer'
