I agree SC is something which needs to be practiced a lot!!i could elimitae C,D,E since claims to be is correct usage!!!!
Confused to hell between A and B ,went for A!!!though and it is usage is wrong there since it refers to company not computer
But on a closer look B seems better now !!!
since to be correct usage, which is quite wrong since it appears to refer to world(CAN ANYONE CLARIFY THIS which and in usage),weighing refers to computer:

to be the smallest network digital camcorder in the world, which is as long as a handheld computer, weighing

HENCE B
Good question!!whats the source

IMO D.

A: "it" can refer to handheld computer instead of the camcorder. Meaning is ambiguous.
B, C: which modifies "world". World is compared to handheld computer
E: "weighing" modifies handheld computer instead of camcorder

I would say OA is wrong!!!

Idiom should be the last thing in the priority list.

B has this clear problem with "which"

yeah hell with what i said second time. i second guessed myself after seein gwhat he said was OA answer. I stand my original answer of D. Its my gut reaction and instinct which got me thte 45 on gmat verbal. i see NOTHING wrong with D. it is absoultely correct. i see problems with the other ones.

This example is crap, the OA is wrong, the authors are bad.

IMO (D).
(B) cannot be OA, world is being compared to the handheld computer. I can't find anything wrong with (D). ....which is as long as a handheld computer and weighs ... is parallel.

'to be' is used for things that will happen in future, but the electronics company is claiming that 'it is' the smallest camcorder. So, option A and B are eliminated.
'is the world's smallest...' sounds better so we are left with D and E.
'as long as' is an idiom used in place of 'since' e.g. 'As long as they are going to stay there, I will not leave this place'. It is not used for comparison of lengths.
The option left is E

I go with D. Same reasons for A,B,C as above.

E >> weighing modifies "handheld computer"

OA?

I agree with D.

It cannot be B because of the ,which. The GMAT rules is that ,which will describe the noun immediately before it. In this case the world. This makes the sentence illogical.
