I'd go with E.
B,C,D use "diet is". I beleive it should be "consist mainly of"
Moreover A,B and D sound like the stomach has the diet of mainly bivalves, while its is really the sea stars' diet.

I am kinda Confuse between A/E. I guess i will go for A. because in E "has an" dosent sound rt to me.
