Re: The extruding stomach of sea stars, whose diet consists [#permalink]
the OA is E. But honestly, i can't really see what's wrong with option A. Is it the issue of which word "whose" refers to? from the way sentence A is constructed, is "whose" modifying sea stars or stomach? I think option A would be wrong if "whose" is modifying stomach, but I really don't understand if this contruction is doing that. if so, then why?

I agree. I was debating b/w A & E and I still can't understand why 'whose' does not modify sea stars in A.
