Yes, there may be Indians who are knowledgable (a few on this forum come to mind), this does not compensate for the countless who apply knowing absolutely nothing about the schools.
I think that we could replace "Indians" by "people" in your comment, and it would still be true.

Yeah, definitely. I think that there really are a big portion of applicant each year that don't do the research, or frequent message boards like this one, and have no idea what makes an applicant competitive. It's not restricted to Indians, though to a casual observer like Beny was perhaps, it's easier to see such misconceptions from Indians simply because so many share their ideas on public forums like this one.
