If u=f(t), then

f(t)=sqrt(t)-10
u=sqrt(t)-10
u+10=sqrt(t)
u^2+10^2=t

Are you sure there is no typo in the answer choices?

Is the formula in the question stem f(x)=sqrt(x-10) or sqrt(x)-10?

u+10=sqrt(t)

Yes it is (u+10)^2...... my mistake

So the answer is D.

u = f(t) = sq.rt(t) - 10

u = sq.rt(t) - 10

u + 10 = sq.rt(t)

t = (u + 10)^2

Answer is D
