I will guess B.

I think that is needed.
E actually doesn't feel so bad, it's parallell.
The tense in A is wrong.
D is not parallell.
It's probably b or E on this one.

I selected E.

'originating from....... and perpetuating' in E shows that both actions are still in progress and not over.

But when I went through all previous posts in this thread then I searched forum for this SC.
