Strange. I would think the answer is C.

It sounds a little unusual to have a "person represent the last time" something happened.

I don't agree with B. The use of "Chester A. Arthur represents the last time" sounds awkward. Would have preferred a construction "Last time Chester A. Arthur represented the political party ...."

Definitely C.

If B were to be the answer, a very weird comparison is being made (Time and person)

Can someone share 1000SC document or provide the links?

Many Thanks,

IMO B

Answer choice C changes the sentence completely even though it retains the meaning.

IMO C, 1000 SC has quite a number of wrong answers. Discuss it in the post if you feel the answer key points to a wrong answer as per your instinct.

B sounds too awkward. C must be correct. Are the answers from SC 1000 sometimes wrong?
