Are you sure, that your results are correct ?
Normally it would be:
x*(1-0,3)*(1-0,25) = x*0,7*0,75 = 0,525 = 52,5%.

**The problem should have asked for 'approximate value' as the choices do not include the exact value 47.5. Assume price of chocolate as 100 Then the reduced price = 100*(0.70)*(0.75) = 52.5Total reduction = 100-52.5 =47.5 \approx{47}Hence Choice(C) should be the answer
