The profit from the sale of a certain appliance, with the no of units sold. Did the profit exceed $4million on sales of 380,000 units?

1.)The profit exceeded $2 million on sales of 200,000 units.
2.)The profit exceeded $5 million on the sales of 350,000 units.

I would have to go with B here.

1) You find minimum profit per unit by dividing 2million by 200,000 to get at least $10 per unit. Multiply $10 by 380,000 units, you know that there was at least $3.8M in profit. Does it exceed $4M? We don't know. Insufficient

2) Minimum profit made $5M/350,000units = $14. $14*380,000units=$5.32M. Exceeds $4M profit. Sufficient.

Right, choice A does not give everything you need to be certain. You could have exceeded that number, but maybe not. Choice B leaves nothing in doubt.
