I wonder if drinking Red Bull violates the school's honor code? There are times when I just gotta have a can!

Pretty self-explanatory.

Really entertaining indeed... I think the whole BW/FT/WSJ list of top b-schools is a list of corrupt schools... Especially when one has as doctrine to not wear sleeveless shirts in the Hawaii campus...

But not all students on campus are mormon. Clearly the vast majority do subscribe to the LDS, however at least 6~7% are foreign students, most of which I presume are not Mormon.

But since it is a mormon school, they expect the students to subscribe to basic mormon principles, i.e. don't put "bad" stuff in your system.

Interestingly enough, many of the school's faculty are not LDS members. Reading a bit further into their honor code, BYU requires active participation in church services according to whatever religion one is a member. In theory, it seems inherently contradictory for the school to, for example, forbid a Jewish worshipper to drink wine during passover or purim.

I don't drink any of this stuff, so I am ok. That said, I guess who would go to such a place where one cannot have coffee.

Totally abstemious. Juice and water are the only things i drink. I do function, barely though :)
But seriously, given these restrictions, who would every apply to BYU.

The shoestring budget minded student. The total cost for tuition (and fees) for two years in under $20K. Half that if one is willing to give up all stimulants and attend LDS sermons all day on Sundays.

In BYU's defense, you simply can't beat the school's impeccable ethical standards. Maybe it's a little too sqeaky clean for us fellow caffeine addicts

Perpetuating the process of non-thinking called faith is an insult to the human mind and , in my view, unethical because it fosters a backward belief system, discourages inquisitive thinking, and establishes an unessecary and useless fear in it's followers.

Ethics? Not there.
