A. No camp members who are 16 and over need permission slips from their parent or guardian in order to attend the sleepover. --> this is not provided in the arguments so we cannot generalize the statements and moreover its too extreme... therefore B is preferred over A B. Each 14-year-old attending the camp sleepover has provided a permission slip from his or her parent or guardian. --> this is correct because we know children below age of 16 have to get a permission slip from their parents... C. No other camp activities besides sleepovers necessitate the permission of a participant's parent or guardian. --> not specified in the argument so cannot determine.. D. Alternative activities are provided for those camp participants who cannot obtain permission to attend the sleepover. --> Nothing mentioned in the argument so incorrect ... E. Eighteen-year-old camp members do not need the permission of their parents or guardians to attend the sleepover, since legally they are considered to be adults. --> no info that above 18 years are legally considered as adults .. so cannot determine info....

Daeny wrote: I'm confused Why not A?? The question stem asks for what must ALSO be true... its already a stated fact that under 16 must provide permission slips... Hi Daeny You can only infer from things what is already given in the stem. There is no mention about children above 16 years of age. If you look closely it states “If a camp participant under 16 wants to attend the camp sleepover, he or she must provide a permission slip from his or her parent or guardian”. Maybe someone above 16, who is not fit or ill ,need to have their parent’s permission slip about which we cannot be sure of. Therefore A cannot be concluded Hope this helps !

+1 B I could not find a better answer. The premise only states that under 16 must provide permission slip and does not mention any requirements aboubt those who are above 16. So B. I am not convinced with my answer. Someone please guide.
