Use of may is not correct. Left with

E is wrong... seems to indicate that the econony had already grown and then after that the economists predicted.
C - occurance of WHAT??

We can use MIGHT HAD predicted.. Any suggections???

i do not think it is approperiate to use might here because the sentence is not about hypothetical situation. it also doesnot say anything about past possibility rather it says someting fact. the event described in the sentence is actually alrady occured. so might doesnot fit anywhere in the sentence.
