choices A , B and C are nothing but a series of clauses, none of which is independent.
'E' has a misplaced modifier "....economics, for four decades, is one that was..." The phrase "for four decades" is incorrectly placed before "is one that..." it is not the four decades that has bene dominated, but the econimics that been dominated for 4 decades.
