eliminate A) + C) + D), because "they" is ambiguous. b/w D) and B), i choose B) because "foreseen" is the right expression, is it ?

B is the answer.

the "they" in the other choices is wrong because its not the subject here.

Difference between B and D is that is the "are" and "can" since the beginning of the sentence starts with "can" so it must follow.

I agree to eliminate A C E for "they", and to choose bt B and D. I choose B too, but do not have a strong reason.

Agree the answer is B

between B and D, I feel D sounds awkard. Could any SC expert point out why B is better than D?

am not an expert, but as I said

spraying of pest. CAN BE

wheather conditions that CANT BE

so they're both events that CAN happen and not that ARE happening. Its a parallel issue here

Taretks, I agree it's a parallel issue but I don't think D is using "are happening",

in D, the structure is Subject + Bverb + adj.
in B, the structure is Subject + Verb (passive)

still not very clear why B is better than D

Weather condition is not to be paralleded with spraying, rather, it is to be paralled with accidents and pilot errors. In fact I would say "unforeseeable weather conditions" is better. Too bad it is not used in B or D.

OA is "B", I chose "B" but not sure why "B" is not better than "D".
