The substance in the pile is gradually blown away by wind. How much of the substance is left by 3pm Thursday?

1) The wind blows away 4 kilos of substance each hour
2) At 5am Tuesday there were 5 tonns of substance in the pile
(A) Statement 1 alone is sufficient, but statement 2 alone is not sufficient
(B) Statement 2 alone is sufficient, but statement 1 alone is not sufficient
(C) Both statements together are sufficient, but neither statement alone is
sufficient
(D) Each statement alone is sufficient
(E) Statement 1 and statement 2 together are not sufficient

We do not know what Tuesday are we talking, perhaps the day before or perhaps a week before, so we have no enough information to answer the question.
