A for me. 'intending that' (right subjunctive mood)

Pronoun reference error in B, C and E. 'them' or 'their' can wrongly refer to 'others'

'With the intent of' in D is unidiomatic.

is the usage of 'they' correct for option A.

'they' has to refer to a plural noun and here it refers to 'telephone credit card numbers'. It need not refer only to people. 'their' is the possessive form of 'they'.

ex.'s
CardCheck verifies credit card numbers to ensure they are genuine

Endorse all credit cards when they arrive

Credit Card number generator: These are NOT valid credit card numbers. You can't buy anything with these. They are random numbers that happen to conform....

Credit card numbers are not random. They can be checked by a mathematical formula for validity....
