for me, East Asian = Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese, etc...

SE Asian = Filipino, Vietnamese, Singaporean, Indonesian, Thai, etc...

South Asian = Bangladesh, India, Pakistan...

But yeah, some people just group all of them into "one" people. :)
