In the first one, Navy is a collective noun. Therefore, it's singular.
The same applies to words such as army, crowd, group, etc...Since Navy is singular, you have to use its with it.

The second one,

Since you are talking about a metaphorical place, not an actual physical place, then you have to go with "in which". In that sentence, we are talking about a Bedouin world rather than an actual location where we would have to use the relative pronoun "where".

The second issue with the sentence is, since we are talking about referring to a single female then you need to use the pronoun her.

BTW, these are not 700 level questions. I think they are sub 500 level.

United States Navy is the Noun and IT should be used..hence options A B D are out

now the answer should be between C and E

C: it...its : CORRECT
D: It.......they....: WRONG
