Is there anywhere on this forum that discusses the rules of using "it"? i get confused sometimes when i see the word "it" in a sentence. How do i determine what "it" refers to in a sentence? and if it refers to more than one thing?

IT (a pronoun) would refer to the noun in front of a sentence. It genrally is referred to in cases of things/ places/ when the gender is not known (like a baby).
