70 streetcats + 130 domestic cats = 200 cats

30 gray domestic cats + 80 gray no domestic cats = 110 gray cats

110 gray cats + 90 other colour cats = 200 cats


How many domestic cats are there which are not gray in Cat-City?
130 domestic cats - 30 domestic gray cats = 100 domestic cats


I think the question is not correct.
Perhaps "110 cats are gray, 30 out of the gray cats are domestic ones", should be formed: "110 cats are gray, 30 out of the x gray cats are domestic ones".

Please correct me if I am wrong.

I was thinking the same Alex , The answer given to this question C (50)
no way in the world i could get this number .

I thought may be i am missing something and wnated to know opinion of other folks here

If 130 are domestic cats and 30 are domestic and grey, then it must be 100 domestic and non-grey. It is further corroborated by the fact that there is mutual exclusion between street cats and domestic cats (x are street and THE REST are domestic).

I am unable to find the answer here.

Awaiting answer with explanation.
