Answer D its more of the maths than CR :-D

let the construction be such that there are 3 people in the room, say A, B, and C. And the situation is such that A recogize B and B recognize A, so at most two people recognizing each other.

Also if both of them recognize C, but C doesnt recognize either of them, it will fulfill the next condition that atleast one person in the room recognize all- in this there are 2 such people.
