There are twice as many English majors as History majors. And thrice as many English majors as Math majors. What is the ratio of History majors to Math majors?

IMO = B

Let E denote English majors, H denote History majors and M denote Math majors

E = 2H = 3M

Let E = 6.

6 = 2(3) = 3(2)

The ratio of History majors to Math majors is 3 : 2.

Assume E denote English majors, H denote History majors and M denote Math majors

E = 2H = 3M

2H=3M

H/M=3/2

Hence the ratio of History majors to Math majors is 3 : 2.
