or P = 1- P(they are both odd)

P = 1 - (1/2 * 1/2)
P = 1 - (1/4)
P = 3/4

I don't get it!!!

there are integers 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 in one set and the same integers in the other.

so there are 5 odd integers and 5 even integers.

so the probability of choosing an odd number is 1/2 and the probability of choosing an even number is 1/2?

so we multiply 1/2 with 1/2, both being odd!! and then subtract it from 1 to get the even product

is this the way you've solved it?

the only way of getting an odd product is to have both factors odd... prob. 1st being odd=1/2; prob 2d being odd=1/2; prob both odd=1/2*1/2
