There are two types of romance novels: those that take place on beaches and those that take place on boats. In some romance novels that take place on boats, the boat symbolizes the author's desire to escape from daily life. Romance novels that take place on beaches, on the other hand, are usually an expression of the author's belief that people should find love and settle down. Might be possible might not be. Hence cannot be a correct answer choice.
(C) Romance novels of any kind are usually intended to fulfill readers' fantasies of escape from daily life.
New Information. Hence cannot be a correct answer choice. It is just symbolization by author.
(D) Most stories about beaches express the author's moralistic views on love and settling down.
-- Again same explanation. Might or might not be possible. Hence D is not a correct answer choice.
(E) Some stories that express the author's desire for escape from daily life also describe the triumph of love over adversity.
-- Some means atleast one / few. This has to be true. All the romance story describes the triumph of love over adversity and the romance story on boat will express the author's desire for escape from daily life. Hence E is a correct answer choice.
