What is this trying to test ? Parallelism :)

A) ...in slowing the growth forests || damaging forests. Awkward.
B) ...in the damage forests || the slowing of the growth of forests. Awkward.
C) same as above. Awkward
D) ..in damaged forests || slowed growth of forests. Awkward
E) ...in damaging forests || slowing the growth of forests. WINS
