There is the Q-set consisting of 10 integers. Are they equal?

(1) The range of Q is 0.
(2) The standard deviation of Q is 0.

from either set we know that all numbers are equal.

(1) Range is a difference between the largest and the smallest. If it a zero, they are equal, as are all the rest.

(2) SD is a measure of 'scattering' from the ariphmetic average. If it is a zero, there is no scattering--all numbers are equal to their average. So they are all equal again.
