It should not be "the other".
A,C,D --out.

I think the answer should be (A),
It should be "the other" and not "another", as another would mean something other than the parties under discussion, so (B) and (E) is out.
Also "others" cannot be used with "each" hence (C) is out.
(B) is awkward and wordy.
(A) is idiomatic, consice and gramatically correct.
What's the OA.

Buddies, the problem is of Subject - verb agreement, "Each Party" - subject of the clause must go with "encounters" and not "encounter", so C and D out.
B is Awkward
Between, A and E - It should be "A", which says "Each party positioned such that one seldom ...", "so that" of E can not replace "such that" of A bcoz "such that" describes the way party has been positioned.
Answer should be "A".

I believe A is correct. The subtle difference between A and E is that so that brings out the intention behind an action. I believe the parties did not intend not to come in contact with other parties. They just happen to be that way. such that is more apropriate here.
