I don't agree with B at all. Sounds like all three will file one tax return. Will go with A.

The OE...

In (A) there is an error in meaning in the sentence that comes from the fact that "tax returns" is plural and "a disk" is singular. It makes it sound like all of the people used the same disk. Choices (C), (D) and (E) are all wrong becaus ethey change the meaning of the original sentence by substituting "an accounting text" for "accounting texts". Now, it it appears that only one text is being used as opposed to a variety of texts as the original sentence states.

I kinda disagree with the explaination above. If you say "it makes it sound like all of the people used the same disk", then (B) makes it sound like people file only ONE tax and using only ONE disk. I think the correct answer should be

Though its not mentioned in the OE, I feel that term "tax returns" also makes it look like each person is filing several tax returns as opposed to one. The use of "a tax return" makes it clear that each of the three individuals files one tax return.

I think its the same with every verbal prep book other than the OG.

Focus on the 500-600 SC's in the OG + 9 paper tests. those are absolutely a goldmine for analysis. i have been saying this for a while now...and i only hope some of you listen

ofcourse, for CR/RC, go for LSATs

Thanx Saurav and Pretorian for your views about Kaplan. i also same view about Kaplan-something like unnecessarily tough. unlike Kaplan, OG is fully explained and smooth.

Pretorian, could you please tell how to get the those 9 paper tests?
thanks again.......

I just prefer using OG+ paper tests FIRST.

When we dont know enough about grammar, the best thing to do is learn from the questions that are of good quality. Otherwise, if we try to apply rules of grammar to poor quality questions, it only serves to confuse us.

believe me , learn from the OG and the paper test questions. and i emphasize L-E-A-R-N. If you say C and the answer key says C, thats good. but your job is to completely analyze every sentence in the question and prove to YOURSELF that the answer you chose is the best.
