is x^2 - 4x + 3 < 0 ?

1. x^2 - 3x + 2 < 0
2. x^2 < 4

(1) X^2-3x+2<0 ans (1, 2) OK
(2) X=(-2, 2) not OK

x<2 or x<-1

(x-3)(x+1)
x<3 or x<-1
??

a is sufficient

b states that x^2<4
Insufficient.

x^2 - 4x + 3 < 0
i.e (x-3) (x-1) <0???
for this to be true 1<x<3 must be true.

St1: x^2 - 3x + 2 < 0
i.e (x-2)(x-1) < 0 means 1<x<2: SUFF

St2: x^2 < 4 means -2<x<2: INSUFF
