It's an interesting approach, but it seems a little far fetched to me. The application process is too individualistic to assign values to work experience generically. The point system values pedigree, but it fails to value impact, which is arguably the most important element of work experience.
You're better off emailing a brief summary of your background and accomplishments to a respected admissions consultant if you want a reasonable assessment of your candidacy at various schools. If a point system was truly a reliable measurement tool, schools wouldn't bother having you write essays or interview
