since we are looking for the hour hand..and not the minute hand...lets see

360/12 hours..30 degrees for each hour..

now..30/60 *37 mins =18.5 degree

every 60 min the hour hand will make an angle of 30
Therefore in 37 mins it make and angle of 37*30/60 = 18.5

When will I stop being careless

I read the question and selected 222 thinking about the minute hand.

I am writing this post to server as a reminder that I have to stop being careless.

It is straightforward

60 minutes - 30 deg
37 minutes - 30 x 37/60 = 18.5 deg.

Help my carelessness.
