Time strategy question [#permalink]
01 Dec 2005, 10:13
Hi All,
This question is more directed toward people who have already taken the test. After completing the two essays, there is 5 min brake time. A person goes to the bathroom and is back lets say after 8 mins. Does the clock set off after 5 mins? or once the examiner brings the examinee back to the computer and click on something. In other words, lets say if someone goes to the bathroom and come back after 5 mins but had to wait cuz there was a line of people who came to take the test. When his turn comes, its already past 8mins. How does that work out?
Second question is if I like to put some formula on the sheet after taking the break, when is the time to do that. What I want to do is after the examiner brings me back, I like to work on my sheet.
Any suggestions will greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi faisalt,
If you take longer than the allotted 5 mins, the test will not automatically start but the administrator can make a note about it. You will be given scratch paper, which you can write anything on and leave it at your workstation over break. The scratch paper is a 4-page booklet, which you must return in order to get more.
