Time to make a final decision: Finance Master at LBS or LSE? [#permalink]

after a long time of applying at all the major 1st tier Unis and B-Schools, it is time to make a decision. Among the offers I received only two remain that are worthwhile to consider:
- London School of Economics: Master in Accounting & Finance - London Business School: Master in Finance (MiF)
Actually I am strongly attracted by LBS despite LSE was my primary target for a long time. But as LSE did not accept my application for the MSc Finance but only for the Acc&Fin Master, I am looking at the situation as follows:
LSE: - Most outstanding reputation, primarily based on the uni's name that is simply known everywhere - Very good finance classes but with a strong focus on theory - Rather young students, aged somewhere between 21 and 24 - Relatively cheap (GBP 21k) - Reputation of the MSc in Acc&Fin is ok, but not great. You will always the oppinion that it is full of students that didn't made it into the MSc Finance program (which is actually true in my case and I am sure in a lot of other cases as well)
LBS: - Outstanding reputation as well, but not as well known in direct comparison with LSE - On the other hand some people share the oppinion that among the people and companies who know LBS well, the B-School enjoys a somewhat more "elite" reputation - Rather a strong focus on management but the MiF seems to enjoy an excellent reputation as well - Students are rather in my personal age range (starting with 25, 26 and upwards) - Students have significant work experience, better networking opportunities - CFA program partner and triple-crown accreditation - Incredibly expensive (GBP 34k)
Except for the tuition fees I think, LBS is superior for my goals (going on with I-Banking, getting to the top notch companies) but actually I would really like to hear some of your oppinions! What do you think about this case? How would you decide and why would you do so?

LSE has a dozen of Masters in Finance program and you will be compete ting with all of them. Unless you are a fresh graduate with a high sensitivity to loan repayment(what happens if I don't get a job ??), close your eyes and head to LBS. _________________
The question is not can you rise up to iconic! The real question is will you ?
