Timing - Taking the Gmat for Fall 2004 Bschool start [#permalink] New post 07 Sep 2003, 22:30
I was planning on taking my test in mid-September, but am now considering pushing it back (I feel I can benefit from some extra time).

Some schools have their early application deadlines in Mid October.

Could I take the Gmat in early October (as late as Oct 7th) and still apply to these programs? Is it a big benefit to apply early (i.e. first round). And if so, could I write in my "unofficial score" and then send in the actuals when they are ready?

Any advice in regard to this matter would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Htown

Usually you write what date you plan on taking the test.
I had a similar problem, I wanted to apply for Spring 2004 but October is too soon. I plan on pushing my application back until 2005. That way I have a good 6 months to study for the GMAT and write a good essay.
