i have 650 on gmat with 3yrs work exp in manufacturing sector in a well known MNC..what are my chances???

Thanks. I see that you are studying marketing and that is what I'm interested in. I'm curious as to why you chose Iowa over other schools. I feel really good about Iowa and know that it fits my needs, but it is always fun to hear how other people arrived at their conclusions as well.

Absolutely. At the end of the day, most Tippie students will tell you they picked the school because of the very generous financial aid and the really fantastic small community. I can honestly say that it is one of the most welcoming, helpful and outgoing group of students and staff I've ever seen. There are 56 students in my class, and with the exception of 1 or 2 of them I would be delighted to go grab a drink or coffee with any of them (and have with most of them.) I can tell you when Tepper and Owen heard I picked Tippie over them they were a bit surprised, but I haven't regretted my decision for a second. Some people tell you you won't be able to get in with top companies because you're not at one of the top 20 schools, and thats simply not true. So far this year I've interviewed with J and J, Nestle, Pepsico, Bayer, and Kimberly Clark, just to name a few (anyone from Tippie class of 2014 you now know firmly who I am  .) Also, that picture at the top is not of a building you will have any classes in :/ It is actually uninhabitable due to the flood. I wish they'd put one up of the Pomerantz Center or the Papa John Building, they're both really nice!

I'm not affiliated with the school at all, but I think that is what I read or heard somewhere. . .
