My concern over here is using a different book(powerscore) this time will intend me to follow its strategy.
Is it going to be a good idea to change my strategy in this attempt rather then sticking to my old CR strategy?
It depends on how well your strategy is working for you. But most important is whether you are using the same concepts that the GMAT is using in that section (conclusion, premises, types of question, etc.) In that case, the Powerscore CR Bible does a great job. _________________
