To be mentally healthy, people must have self-respect. People can maintain selfrespect only by continually earning the respect of others they esteem. They can earn this respect only by treating these others morally.

Which of the following conclusions can be properly drawn from the statements above?

(A) People who are mentally healthy will be treated morally by others.
(B) People who are mentally healthy will have treated morally those they esteem.
(C) People who are mentally healthy must have self-respect in order to be treated morally by morally by others.
(D) People can expect to be treated morally by others only if they esteem these others.
(E) People who have self-respect seldom treat morally those they esteem.

I would make the following chain where each unit is caused by the next one:

mentally healthy - self respect - respect of others - treat these others morally

So, we eliminate (A), (C) and (D) becase we do not want to be trated morelly by others, we want their respect
Choice (E) brakes the causation chain

Only choice (B) is in line with the chain and, therefore, is the best answer

I picked B too but took very long time.

I wish if someone can explain how to solve such questions with some simple logic diagram which can be used for solving any such logic questions.
