To take soon or not to take soon.... [#permalink] New post 09 Oct 2010, 09:56
So I've now taken 8 CAT tests from various companies. My scores are as follows:

#1 MGMAT 680 (38Q, 42V)
#2 GMAT Prep 640 (38Q, 40V)
#3 Kaplan 580 (lost breakdown)
#4 GMAT Prep 650 (47Q, 33V)
#5 Knewton 620 (41Q, 36V)
#6 Knewton 640 (38Q, 42V)
#7 Knewton 660 (42Q, 40V)
#8 Veritas 680 (47Q, 41V)

It seems to me I am now safely in the realm of getting a 40+ on both Q and V. I have used the GMAT Calculator, finding I have a good shot of getting between 650 and 690 based on my scores above.

My recent trend of 40/40's, however, lead me to believe I can score higher.

What do you guys think? Does my Q/V breakdown seem to be positively trending? I am aiming for 700, but haven't yet hit that mark.

Thanks!

If you feel comfortable with the topics on the GMAT, then it's probably time to choose an appropriate date for the test. Until then, keep reviewing the concepts. It's show time.

Thanks everybody! I really appreciate the feedback, as the GMAT preparation process is such a solo endeavor. At some point, I feel you kinda lose yourself in your own strategies, thoughts, and worries, so it's good to have forums like this one as an outlet.
