To what extent are b-school employment reports verified? [#permalink]

just curious. i initially narrowed my business school list down primarily using their employment reports. now im actually curious as to what vetting process these reports actually go through.

I can't speak much to b-school employment reports but I did take notice that undergrad (all majors, I think) seem to play down the "% reporting" factor in their employment reports. 98% placement with a small footnote stating that only 50% of graduates report doesn't seem promising as my personal belief is that the primary reason a recent grad would not report is that they are unemployed, not employed in their field of study, or are embarrassed by their pay grade. Maybe a little cynical...
