I poste this question only because is funny :) I do not have neither the options nor the OA

Today, Pope Benedict XVI made news by becoming the first pope to resign from office since 1415. Which got us to thinking – Benedict the 16th, 1415…how many years in that time have been multiples of 16?

Solution= 1415/16 = 88,43... therefore, 88 years in that time have been multiples of 16.

Actually, we were wondering about the number of multiples of 16 in the years starting from 1415 to 2013.

And yeah, we are funny people! We eat, sleep and breathe Quant and Verbal! (not to forget AWA and IR)

Thanks, guys - like Karishma said, we eat, sleep and breathe this stuff, so when I heard the news on the radio driving into work I immediately thought "there's a GMAT question in there somewhere!".

first multiple of 16 (beyond 1415) 1424 last multiple of 16 (prior 2013) 2000

so answer is = ((2000-1424)/16)+1 = 36+1 = 37
