Thanks, guys - like Karishma said, we eat, sleep and breathe this stuff, so when I heard the news on the radio driving into work I immediately thought "there's a GMAT question in there somewhere!".

first multiple of 16 (beyond 1415) 1424 last multiple of 16 (prior 2013) 2000

so answer is = ((2000-1424)/16)+1 = 36+1 = 37
