TOEFL Books, Official Guide and...? [#permalink] New post 16 Jun 2012, 09:15
Hi to everybody!

I would like to take a TOEFL test this year and i need to prepare myself about the structure of the test and his "tricks and tips". I'm italian, so i need a book that has to be very helpful in all sections but also grammar and vocabulary.

Reading your topics i think the Official Guide ETS is a must have. So I'm going to buy one. But for grammar and vocabulary do you suggest something in particular?

And, most of all, do you think that for a non-native english the official guide is enough to achieve an excellent score (considering a medium level of english) or i need something else?

Thanks guys! :-D

You can take a practice test, and see which of the areas in the test are your weak/strong areas. Please do this first and then we can discuss the TOEFL preparation further.

Thanks a lot, I'll buy the official guide first and then I'll post my weaknesses :)
