Thanks for you response!

I also practiced on two TOEFL online tests, one halfway through my preparation and one the day before the test.

What is the rationale here? I would assume one needs to take the test when starting the preparation to know what areas to focus on, and another in the middle to get update on the success and maybe switch focus. If you take the test one day before the test what value do you get from it?

Which test did u guyz have given?? i mean u both bought $45 test ?? y i dont buy$45 test, because we can give it only once. Assume if i have given it once and i might get 85 and then after some time if i want to chek it again then i have to pay again \$45 ..that is smthing costly for me

Hey Fozzzy,

I did not use any specific source for the reading part. I think what you want to do for this part is zero in on the type of questions you are not familiar/comfortable with (for me, the inference questions) and try to practice as much as you can. Develop a personal approach and apply it on any TOEFL test you take

For general reading purposes, spend some time on the MIT Tech Review and The Economist, if you grasp everything easily (caveat for the scientific jargon), I guess you're set, otherwise, my best advice would be to read academic literature as much as you can to prepare for the test
