Toefl, ielts or PTE??? [#permalink]
12 Feb 2011, 06:08
Just realised I am in a big problem... I want to apply to LBS on 3rd round, with due date on March 2nd. I am studying now to the GMAT (test day on Feb 24th), and yesterday I've found out that I need to send them my english level score, along with all other documents! For some reasons I thought that I can have a GMAT score, and then, only after being offered with a spot, I should send the english test... Anyway, with due date in 18 days, I need to take, yet another, exam, this time of english level (btw, why isn't the GMAT verbal score enough?). Another thing is, that although I'm not a native english speaker, I will be living in London for a year before the programme starts, but school want's me to have two years...
I think that I can be tested asap. Only problem is, next tests are next weekend, which means I will not have enough time to submit the scores (as they are given within 13 days of the test, which will be after due date).
Can anyone help with this one? Am kind of lost here...

I don't know about other tests, but the score in TOEFL is released 2 weeks after the exam. Therefore, you should register to the earliest available date, and do it as soon as possible. I also suggest you to send an email to LBS AdCom in case your score will definitely arrive late. I don't think they will have any issue if your score arrives within a week after deadline. But please, don't tell them you didn't know that you had to take an English exam 20 days before the deadline.... btw, they won't care that your are going to live 1 year in London, and in case you score less than 109 then it's likely you will have to go through an extra English short interview in which they will assess your English.
