TOEFL Marks and Score Reporting [#permalink] New post 27 Jul 2009, 06:42
I am planning to take the GMAT on the 3rd week of September and the fall deadlines of most of the schools for Round 1 is 20th Oct 2009. I guess i can take the TOEFL by 10-12 October and still send the package before the round 1 deadline date. Does anyone know actually how the process takes places regarding the reporting of GMAT and TOEFL scores to the university. Also do we get the TOEFL results then and then after the exam. Please do let me know of any forum or whether you know about the application process. Thanks.

You will know TOEFL results only after ~2-3 weeks.

If that is the case can i take TOEFL on or before 20th October 2009 and in the application i can mark as the test score as "0" and then ask ETS to report my score to the intended univeristy. Is there any website which describes the colmplete process along with the "ifs" and "buts"...Thanks for your help... :)

Of course, it is better to have all your scores before applying but If you don't have enough time, I would recommend you to contact directly adcoms. Different schools have different rules. At least you will have email from adcom and can use it as a prove if necessary.
